Mr. Pinto, 44, died in hospital on May 25, 2013, from injuries sustained while working on a construction site in Brampton. An inquest into his death is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Pinto’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
The inquest is expected to last three days and hear from six witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Dr. Robert Boyko will be the Presiding Officer and Grace Alcaide Janicas will be Inquest Counsel.
