Inquest into the Death of Troy Jenkins
Mr. Jenkins, 55 years old, died in hospital on June 9, 2021, following an interaction with the Toronto Police Service. An inquest into his death is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Jenkins’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
The inquest is expected to last three days and hear from approximately three witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025. Bonnie Goldberg will be the presiding officer and Roger Shallow will be the inquest counsel.
