Inquest into the Death of Renee Thornhill
Ms. Thornhill, 33, died on May 21, 2018, while undergoing treatment at The Ottawa Hospital.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Ms. Thornhill’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
The inquest is expected to last 10 days and hear from 15 witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023. Dr. MaryBeth Bourne will be the Presiding Officer. Peter Napier and Suzanne Schriek will be Inquest Counsel. The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on all remaining days.
